Super Car Races: Classic Muscle Car Racing.

Racing of any sort is in the DNA of a muscle car, so it was great when we found out about Super Car Races, who specialises in organising classic muscle car racing and documents all cars, their performance and times on their website.

We spoke with Bill Dicicco of Supercarraces.com  to give us an overview of what they do.

‘Supercar races is a series run mostly in the north east of the country.’
‘It features about 18 races a year. We run quarter miles, all races are heads up. Both pure stock and stock appearing cars run in our events. Points are awarded per round win, qualifying, making a quick eight, and even for just showing up.’

‘Our sight are very complete with rules for both classes, racer discussions, parts for sale, and extensive photo records of each race event. We have our own professional photographer, and he gets amazing photos of all our racers at each event. There is no charge to race with Supercar races, you come and you race! We have cookouts for each meal during the race weekend so each raver is asked to bring an item for that. At the end of the season we have our banquet where our champion receives his award and several runner ups will get prizes as well.’ Bill stated.
