Malibus and Catalinas by Chris Jardine

Here we have a brace of Catalinas (the official terminology….) and a wonderful ’73 Malibu.
Good to see a collection of cars being maintained by the muscle car fans out there, so over to Chris to explain his cars.

‘Here’s my 73 Catalina’s. 400 BB 375 THM and hard tops.’

‘I built all the panels myself at home and it has 90000 on it.
I’ve owned it 13 years and its root beer brown with orange pearl sittin on 17’s. I rebuilt everything myself.
The gold one I’ve had 20 years and it’s still original with 55000 kms on it. They both have 273 gears.
Both cars were built in March, a month after I was born and I drive them both during the summer.’

I also own a 73 Malibu with only 32000 on it. 307 with console and blue leather swivel seats. It’s completely original down to the spark plugs. 308 gears and 350 THM. After buying it, I just changed all the fluids and then drove it across Canada without a hitch.’
