1966 – 1970 Dodge Charger Engine Types

At the height of the musclecar era, all manufacturers were offering a variety of engines which were great platforms to turn a great car into a road monster.
In just four short years, the Charger went from an average slant six engine to the mighty Hemi.
The hemi-engine will always be the King of the V8’s, but the hemi was the result of a number of reiterations before it became the legendary engine it is today.
