When it comes to collectable muscle cars, the F body platform may not be the most collectable, but it sure makes a great platform to be fettled and tuned to the max and regularly shows the others a thing or two on the dragstrip.

This clip comes care of Cecil County Dragway, Maryland which shows this Chevrolet Camaro doing regular 8 second passes and showing some of the other contenders exactly how it’s done.

It goes to show that you don’t have to spend a fortune on your base platform car and this video shows precisely that.
Obviously you need the parts, finance and expertise to get this level of performance, but the F body platform is showing regularly it’s worth.
