Now we are coming out of the winter months, there are plenty of car shows for you to visit and get inspiration for your next ride!
Muscle cars, hot rods, classics, music, barbecues and much more will help fund STEM programs, arts education and art-therapy programs, Goodyear Firefighter Charities and the fight against toll roads in Arizona.

 

No Toll Roads in AZ Car Show

The Arizona Automobile Hobbyist Council will present its 42nd annual show at Sanderson Ford. On display will be as many as 120 cars, trucks and motorcycles of all makes, models or years. Awards will be presented at 2 p.m., including 10 people’s choice awards and best of show. The first 100 registrants will receive a goodie bag, dash plaque and T-shirt. There will be food, DJ entertainment and raffles. Proceeds will help fund the council’s fight against toll roads in Arizona.

Buckeye Air Fair and Car Show

In addition to vintage and experimental aircraft, classic cars and trucks will be on display. People’s choice awards will be presented in a dozen categories. The air fair will also host the Arizona SciTech Buckeye Festival featuring science and technology activities to promote STEM programs in the state.

Goodyear Community Car Show

Registration for about 100 vehicles will begin at 8 a.m., and the show will start at 10. Free hamburgers and hot dogs will be served beginning at 11:30 a.m. (while they last). Trophies will be presented at 1:30 p.m. in such categories as owners choice, best display, best custom and first, second and third place for best in show.

Wheels at the Wigwam Rig Day Charity Classic Car Show


United Goodyear Firefighters Local 4005 will host its inaugural Rig Day show on the lawn at Wigwam Arizona. Kids will love the vintage fire trucks on display. There also will be muscle and classic cars, hot rods, trucks and Volkswagens to see. Food and drinks will be sold. Proceeds will benefit Goodyear Firefighter Charities.

Saturday Morning Cruise-ins

Owners and fans of hot rods and classic, custom and modern muscle cars will see plenty on display at Dreamland Villa’s Farnsworth Hall in Mesa. There will be a 50/50 raffle and a DJ will play music from the ’50s and ’60s. Come hungry from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. and get a breakfast of pancake, sausage, eggs and coffee for $4.

Classic Car, BBQ & Blues Show

Head south to see 200 classic and antique cars and trucks at Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance’s seventh annual car show. Bluz Nites and the George Howard Band will perform, and trophies will be presented at 2:30 p.m. in more than 40 categories, including best of show and people’s choice. Barbecue, kettle corn and American food will be sold, and there will be bounce houses and activities for kids. Register online before the event to show your wheels; no day-of registrations will be accepted. Proceeds will help fund community arts education and art-therapy programs.
