Kirt Fryer 1971 Mustangs: The Ultimate Ford Collection?

By  |

Available at The Mecum auction Indianapolis, May 17th – 21st, are six 1971 Ford Mustangs from the Kirt Fryer collection.

Maybe not a sought-after or rare as the earlier counterparts, but this sextet of Mustangs have 4 of them with 429 big block V8s and four of them with 4 speed manual transmissions.

Each have their own unique appeal going from the well spec’ed SCJ 429/375Hp Drag Pack to the more plain blue CJ version.

Haggerty pricing tool puts their worth around $60,000 to $75,000. Not the cheapest, but arguably better value than a Shelby GT500 or GT350.

The auction is to take place at Indiana State Fairgrounds May 17th – 21st 2016.
