2020 COPO Camaro With One Off John Force Edition

Just before the eve of the 2019 Sema Show, Chevrolet have released a rather spiffing 2020 COPO Camaro to celebrate 16-times NHRA champion John Force. The car will be later auctioned at Barrett Jackson, Scottsdale in January, with the money raised going to DonorsChoose.org.

This one-off special vehicle is not part of the limited 69 drag racers built by Chevrolet for 2020, but in addition to. Which means this year’s total will come to 70 COPOs.

As for the special features of this car, starting with the powertrain which will be a 350 cubic-inch LSX V8 with a 2.65L Magnusson supercharger. The vehicle also feature a track-ready Racer’s package, with all the racing goodies you would expect, such as carbon fiber air inlet and the usual parachute.

The red and black color scheme follows to the interior, with a John Force’s autograph on the dash. There’s also the option of being able to personalize the Camaro with a range of colors. these include – Hugger Orange, Butternut Yellow, Frost Green Poly, Olympic Gold Poly, Garnet Red, Fathom Green Poly and Azure Turquoise Poly. If you wanted to opt. for more standard colors, the range covers Black, Summit White, Satin Steel Gray and Red.

Chevrolet have produced 552 COPO Camaros since 2012 with 69 units being made each year. Getting your greasy paws on one means going through a lottery system. In this time, five of these have gone up for auction, with all proceeds going to charity and raising over $2 million.
