2018 Dodge Demon, What We Know Up To Now

The slowly leaked news and teaser videos from Dodge have sure whipped up a frenzy about the upcoming 2018 Dodge Demon. All will hopefully be revealed at the latest New York auto show, but until then we all have to de-cipher the cryptic clues put out in all of Dodge’s videos up to now.

The video below gives a good overview of what we can glean from the information up to now. A possible 850 hp machine, a torque reserve system which essentially ramps up the power on launch mode, Dodge Demon branded drag tools, stock drag radial tires, the biggest air intake ever and at one point the talk of the possibility of a four-wheel-drive machine.

The biggest topics of conversation up to now have been the cryptic clues put out in the videos which you can see on the vehicles license plates and strategically placed on performance readouts within the videos. The excitement also stems from the fact that the vehicle is the first drag race vehicle on a production car bringing back that pure muscle car spirit.
