2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon ‘Fuel’ Video Runs On 100+ High-Octane and Regular Gas.

If nothing else, Dodge definitely know how to tease us when it comes to the release of the upcoming Dodge Demon. The latest video before final release is titled ‘Fuel’ which shows how the upcoming beast will be able to run and switch between regular gas and 100+ high-octane race gas. This is the first for a factory production car, along with many of its other features.

The latest video shows the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon being refuelled by what looks like some green alien liquid pushed through to the about to be released mighty engine. This means that the Demon will have two fuel pumps and larger fuel injectors than the Hellcat. The car will also include a new Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to calibrate both fuel sources.

With only one fuel tank the PCM will monitor the engine’s knock sensors and warn the driver to switch to regular gas mode if needed. This means that with high octane gas, a huge air intake and air con cooled air into the engine could mean extremely high power output, far more than expected. expectations of power could be anything from 757 to 1,121 Hp, but nothing is concrete until the Demon’s final release.

All this is shaping up for the Dodge Demon to bring back the classic days of muscle car dragstrip racing straight from the factory.
