Shelby has just unveiled a wide-body version of the Ford Mustang for its sixth generation. The car is strictly a concept vehicle for the time being, but due to the popularity of other wide body cars on the market it’s inevitable this machine will hit the streets in the near future.

The already great looking Shelby Mustang has been enhanced by the rear track having 4 inches added and 2.5 inches to the front of the vehicle. The widening blends perfectly giving the car an even more aggressive stance. This is accompanied by a complete aero kit, but the modifications aren’t just limited to the visual.

The car started with the 50th Anniversary Shelby Super Snake and added a supercharged Ford 5.0L V8 engine, fully adjustable coil over suspension system, upgraded Brembo brakes, stronger spindles and hubs, hardened wheel studs and widened wheels and tires. All this kicks out power of 750 horsepower. The car will be available in the fall of 2017.

The car will be officially unveiled at the annual Carroll Shelby Tribute and Car Show in Southern California. If you want to find out more about the wide body Shelby Super Snake, check out the official Shelby website http://www.shelby.com/
