2017 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350: Track Package Now standard and New Colors.

The new world of the muscle and pony car doesn’t stand still for long, which is why Ford are releasing new upgrades and enhancements for their 2017 models.

“At the end of last year we started offering a back seat option for Shelby GT350R due to customer demand; now we have adjusted the packages available to continue to provide more of what customers want on the Shelby GT350 Mustang.” – Dave Pericak, Ford Performance head.

The biggest news is the previous additional Track Package is now standard on the Shelby GT350, which adds upgrades such as say aluminum tower brace, magnetic ride dampness, rear spoiler, and upgraded coolers.
This should bring you in a saving of around $6500.

The powertrain of the car will stay the same, with 5.2 L V8, giving out 5 to 6 HP and 429ft. lbs. of torque, via a six speed manual transmission.

The extra colors that into the limelight will include, Ruby Red Metallic, Lightning Blue and Grabber Blue, which replace the previous colors of Deep Impact Blue and Competition Orange.
