2017 Ford Mustang GT vs Dodge Charger Hellcat Battle

Here we have another head-to-head race which matches up a 2017 Ford Mustang GT vs 2017 Dodge Charger Hellcat to see which muscle/pony car is the best out of the blocks. Both are very capable vehicles, but have very different power outputs.

The Mustang GT has a 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 producing 435 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque to a six speed manual transmission, while the Dodge Charger has the ubiquitous supercharged 6.2-liter V8 HEMI V8 with 707 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque, through an eight speed automatic transmission.

The charger is definitely the heavier of the two, so will need all of its extra power to bus to the finish line. But this doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a given it will win. Just check out the video for the final winner.
