The 2017 Dodge Charger Get A 5 Star Safety Rating

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has given the 2017 Dodge Charger a 5 star safety rating, the highest in their program.
The NHTSA has awarded the Dodge Charger a five-star rating over 10 times since its first publication, showing the ongoing safety standards from the range.

Some of the dissenters may scoff at this, saying that its because the car weighs so much that it can stop any impact, but it’s a definite plus point for the muscle car fraternity to have such a high rating in the safety stakes.
However, it does show the level of safety features built into Dodge vehicles of today.
There are features such as the Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning-Plus, Dodge’s ‘advanced sensor-fusion technology’ which stops the car from a front impact, plus the Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist. This is along with over 80 safety and security features now built into the vehicle.

The modern Dodge Charger, along with other modern muscle cars are a big departure from their ancestors under showing that raw performance can be had with will beating safety features.

This shows that the modern muscle car is every bit as roadworthy as any other vehicle on the market and with the mighty hellcat range it showing that you can have raw muscle car performance and safety in the same package.
