2017 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Runs Under 7.30 At The Nürburgring

The Nürburgring can be both a blessing and a curse for a car manufacturer.
In some ways it is the acid test to prove the fastest times for any car model, but it can also be an overly obsessive yardstick, with manufacturers focusing more on the fastest time than anything else.

In any case, the Nürburgring is now the de facto standard for getting the fastest times and luckily for the 2017 Camaro ZL1 it trashed its previous generation’s time by 11.67, with a time of 7:29.60.

That’s a mighty fast time folks, showing that the Camaro is going from strength to strength and proving its worth, not just in the pony/musclecar stakes, but also showing the rest of the sports car pack how it’s done.
