By  |

The car that has been talked about as the great all-rounder, will be on sale at $66,445 and $70,445 for the convertible this year.

The grand sport has a different powertrain to its Zo6 and Stingray sibling, but similarities to both models in some degrees.
Powered by a 6.2 L V8 engine with LT1, the car will have components from the zo6 and the Stingray, with 20-inch wheels, Brembo brakes, magnetic ride control dampers and carbon ceramic brakes. The power goes to a seven speed manual transmission.

Other features include a new rear spoiler, new front splitter and a specially designed and vented carbon fibre hood.
The car is expected to to do 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds.

The base model will be available this summer with hopefully collectors or limited-edition models by the end of the year.
