2017 Camaro ZL1: The Fastest Pony Car For Sale From Chevrolet

The 2017 Camaro ZL1 is sure making waves in the performance world making a top speed of 198 mph (318 km/h)which is the fastest Chevrolet you can currently buy.

This makes it faster than the Corvette Z06 which is also rated to go 198 mph, but the actual time of the Camaro was 202.3-mph at the Automotive Testing Papenburg GmBH, Germany, which with a two way opposite pass brings the average 198 mph.

The test vehicle was essentially stock apart from some safety features and data recorders, with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 tires. This still may not be as fast as the Dodge Charger hellcat’s 204 mph topline figures, but the ZL1 is arguably more track focused and is much more competitively priced than other sports vehicles at $61,140.

The 2017 Camaro ZL1 features a 6.2L LT4 with Eaton supercharged V8 engine with 650HP and 650 lbs. ft. of torque, there were 10 speed automatic transmission or six speed manual which is also available in paddle shift. This is good for a 0 to 60 time of just 3.5 seconds and a quarter mile time of 11.4 seconds.
