The modern era of muscle cars have definitely caught up with the times.
With the wide variety of engine options, suspension, brakes and all the modern tech, the modern muscle car is as good or better than its contemporaries.
With the addition of smaller engines and turbos included in the line-ups, are these cars morphing from muscle car to sports car?

A review over at driving.ca, tests the new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro 2.0 Turbo-four and the Camaro SS convertible V8.
It sort of covering all bases. Those who want a pure V8 and those who want a smaller engine with all squeezed out of it. The 2 L turbo version produces 275 hp and 295 lb.-ft. of torque. Lighter, more reinforced and more stealth like, means the car is not limited, while the convertible V8 version produces all the fun you would expect from a car of this breed.

With the wide range of engine options, the makers now want to please all areas of the car buying public. The purists would want a whole line-up of V8’s, but to fit with the times, makers have to try to cover the whole spectrum of engine types. Which means there should be a Camaro for anybody and that’s a good thing.

Available in late spring, the new Camaro line up should be the best yet.
