This readers ride submission is a great example the car where you don’t need to spend a lot of money, but we can still have plenty of fun.
As with this example, you can do in engine swap and a few other upgrades to give it some poke, without spending the levels of money to get a top end resto mod.

Sometimes the less obvious is the best way to go….

‘This is my 1983 ford Fairmont, originally had an inline 6 and is now swapped for a 4.6 v8.’
‘The car originally had an inline 6. I have swapped it for a 4.6 cobra engine from a 2004. The car Is sitting on Mustang suspension with a 3 inch lowering kit, 8.8 posi lok rear end, Saleen 17 inch rims.’
