1973 Fully Customized Pantera By Tony Ortiz Sr.

This magnificent beast owned by Tony Ortiz Sr.  is a 1973 De Tomaso Pantera.

It’s a curious beast which you can think of as being a European design with US Ford power. This combination of a European and American collaboration can work, just look at the original AC Cobras.

Panteras were imported to the US by Ford to be sold through their Lincoln Mercury dealers. You could have a Ford 302 Windsor V8, Ford 351 Cleveland V8 or a Ford 351 Windsor V8.

This 1973 model comes with a 2006 four GT front and rear section, hundred and 80° headers air ride suspension, bored out 351 Cleveland with 180 jet hot coated headers. 18”x13” rear wheels with 345/30/18. 17”x11” wheels with 245/35/18, full roll cage and chassis stiffeners, Deep black paint and Ride tech air ride system.

In some ways, it’s a perfect match between European design and American power. Could it be the ultimate matchup?
