This 1971 Plymouth Barracuda looks in great condition and quite the sleeper, but with the current bid of $10,100 and buy it now price of $43,500 USD it hardly seems like a basic 318ci. From the provided images the bodywork looks in great shape, with all the attributes of a nice Cuda of its time. The paintwork looks in good condition, all the panels look relatively straight and the vinyl roof looks in good condition.

The engine under the hood is the anomaly as it’s not clearly defined in the ad. From the sloping distributor, this could be a 426 Hemi V8 engine?? But without complete clarification, it’s hard to say. Overspray in some parts make this look like it’s had a respray sometime in the past, so I wonder if there is any documentation with the vehicle that expresses this point.

’71 Cudas in good condition with what looks like a dropped in Hemi engine could be worth around the asking price, but there are lots of details that need clearing up with this listing before you dive in.
