My 1971 Camaro Project Prostreet By Dan Gray

This is a fantastic ’71 camaro Project prostreet, now 80% complete by Dan Gray of Baltimore.

Dan has taken a stock ’71 Camaro, taken it down to the bare bones and added a 358ci. small block Chevy, huge hood scoop, upgraded suspension and brakes, basically a complete re-build. The car weight 2300lbs and when completed, is expected to makes some great times on the dragstrip.

‘A year and a half worth of work to take it from the red car to what you see in primer. Did all the work myself. Welding, body work, primer, sheet metal. Has a Ford 9″ 456 gears, turbo 350 transmission.’
‘Stainless steel brake lines, braided fuel lines, Wildwood brake kit, rear brakes drum to disc.’
‘I am not going to paint it until I run it a few times and see where it might crack. The car also has fiberglass doors, front end hood and trunk. All lexan windows.’
