This 1970 Plymouth Barracuda on first glance may be something you would pass by, but it is a diamond in the rough that is solid enough to be brought back to life. Mopar prices are ever-increasing, so finding a solid vehicle is becoming ever more rare.
This example has been living in Nevada so has only succumbed to surface rust. in its prime. In its prime it was a plum crazy beauty and does come with a 318ci. engine, presumably original. the valve is covers seem to have gone for a walk but the rest of the engine seems to be there. The rest of the engine components seem to be there and even a battery, so with some TLC the engine could easily be brought back to life.
You don’t really get much in the way of an interior, but at least the dash is in place and steering wheel, the rest you will have to get from OEM parts. All the body panels look straight without dents and only seem to suffer from surface rust.
This Cuda can easily be brought back to life to its original condition or be the basis of a restomod. It’s barebones but it has a solid foundation, which is key to any car rebuild.
