1970 Dodge Charger R/T. A Work In Progress…

By  |

This 1970 Dodge Charger R/T seems to be a work in progress that now needs to be passed on.

The drivetrain and bodywork is said to be nearly complete, with all parts on the car original with only the drivers door’s and trunk lid being replaced. However, the last thing in the ad says that the engine is not original, but a ‘high-performance forged-crank 440.’ pinching having new rings and bearings.

The car was originally alpine white with red brick interior, but as you can see, that has been stripped back.
The images show a completely stripped out interior, with no mention of one being supplied with the car.

As the ad. says, The car comes with, ‘a light package, non-a/c, console 4-speed, p/s, manual 11inch drums on all four original 15 inch Hemi wheels and hubcaps, heavy-duty suspension, Dana 60 3:54 sure-grip rear axle that is date-coded to the car as is the 18-spline transmission.’

The ad. also says that the fender tag is missing, therefore, with this car, it had better have a lot of documentation with it is proof what it is.

As a work in progress which has had a replacement engine, I would haggle a bit on the $26,000 pricetag.

Engine: 440Cu. In. V8
Price: US $26,000.00
