This 1970s Chevrolet Corvette is a product of Dick Guldstrand’s racing creations which is now for sale on eBay. This particular vehicle was built at a Arizona race shop with a Guldstrand’s suspension and to his specifications. Raced at SCCA and NHRA, the car will be a great collector’s item for the right person.

This car is clearly built as a racer, but the SCCA and NHRA claims have no documentation in the ad. The car has plenty of roadgoing parts, but you will have to go through the works to get it completely road legal. This isn’t to put you off as this is a clear racing rarity, but it is better to know from what you are getting.

Being built for racing, he suspension has been beefed up suspension along with the rear end, with adjustable strut rods. The engine is a 454ci. V8 LS7 big block with a lot of of the specs as below from the listing. From the images you can also see a Holley 1150 cfm carburetor, Edelbrock manifold, MSD ignition and braided fuel lines.

The interior is mostly stock which is a bit odd, considering it was a racer, but this may also help with a roadgoing conversion of legalities. That roll cage is unclear if it’s welded or bolted in.

If the SCCA and NHRA aspects check out or not are one thing, but this is clearly a rarity on its own, but it’s really if it’s worth the 50,000 asking price.
