Summer is on its way and no better way to spend the evenings and in a 1970 Chevelle SS convertible. This example doesn’t seem to be a restomod but a restoration with a replacement 396 CI. V8 engine and some upgrades here and there.
From the outset this is clearly a fine looking vehicle and the black striping and 18 inch Foose SS wheels definitely blend extremely well with the rest of the moody look of the vehicle. When the exterior looks this good, you expect everything else on the car to follow suit. It’s a shame it’s not a 454ci., but the 396cid big block engine V8 is a very close second. It’s mated to a Muncie 4 speed transmission with the engine having some upgrades such as a mild cam and headers.
The interior is stock books is clean and crisp as the exterior. The chrome works just as good. There are not many more details that come with the listing, so you should take this car as a thorough restoration which has had some minor upgrades to the engine and appearance.
You really can’t go wrong with a 1970s Chevelle and one that is in this kind of shape is worth every penny.
