Love them or hate them, the 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona and 1970 Plymouth Road Runner Superbird are iconic vehicles of the muscle car era.
Built specifically to win at NASCAR, they did produce goods on the track, but failed to be a hit with the public at the time.

Those lucky few that saw the vision of these vehicles and snapped them up, are the winners today as both cars fetch huge prices in mint condition.

The 69 Dodge Charger Daytona had a 426 Hemi engine or a 440 Magnum, while the 1970 Plymouth Superbird usually had the 446 Six-Pack engine.
