The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is probably one of the most iconic cars in the world. Its distinctive looks and sporty appearance, standout and turn heads just as it did over 40 years ago.

The last of the first-generation Camaros for the 1969 model had redesigned sheet metal all round, except the hood and trunk lid.
The grille received a ‘V’ shape, deep insight headlights and rear valance panel’s gave a much lower and wider look to the car. These design changes only lasted for the 1969 year.

The 69 Camaro could be found in many different configurations, from the base model, to a standard sport coupe, SS model or a race track Z/28.
The Z/28 featured dual exhausts, special suspension, heavy duty radiator, quick ratio steering and 15 x 7 inch rally wheels.

The SS version came with three speed transmission, sport stripes and insulate hood.

The RS model included a black painted grill with concealed headlights, fender stripes, rear fender louvers, blackbody sills, front and rear wheel opening moldings, RS badging, bright accented taillights, backup lights which were below the rear bumper. These could also be optioned on the SS or Z28 models making them an RS/SS or a RS/Z28.
