1969 Camaro RS/SS First Start up in 28 Years.

It’s usual to see only the start or end point of the restoration project. Here we have a 1969 Camaro RS/SS car at the start of the build, being torn down and built back up.

The car currently has a 327 small block engine (the original engine can’t be located), which the guys got started after being sat for 28 years with the previous owner. The engine block had a crack in it, extensive rust in parts of the car, so this wasn’t a small restoration job.

A new engine was ordered, the car completely sandblasted and the restoration begins.
