1968 Pontiac GTO From Original Owner

This 1968 GTO is one of those original finds but don’t come around very often.

The person selling the car says that he is the original owner and still has the original bill of sale.
It seems like the guy is now at the point where he’s too old to restore the car himself, which means some lucky person out there could have this as their next project.

The listing says the car has these details, but not much else –
1. New (never used ) car cover.
2. 2 – 15″x 7″ steel wheels, 2 extra 14″ steel wheels.
3. The “Ram Air ” hood scoops.
4. Crower Cam , lifters , for the 400 cu in engine ( was installed at one time ) Now back to original.
5. Spare Quadrajet carb , with several jet sizes and fuel rod sets for the large rear barrels.
6. Original jack and some Msc. parts
7. Rear quarter panel chrome trim ( both sides)

As the ad. says, the interior is in not too bad shape. Even the seats look like they only need a small amount of restoration.
The engine does look very tired, so will obviously need completely overhauling, but the rest of the car looks solid.

In conclusion, we can take this as a numbers matching 1968 Pontiac GTO, which will need a full restoration, but everything here is solid.
The price is currently $7,601.01 , with roughly a day and a half to go.
