‘The engine is a 1977 vintage 400 cubic inch mill from a Trans Am, but it’s been pretty thoroughly reworked to better suit the Judge’s personality. 1969 closed-chamber heads add compression and flow better than the later units, so it’s definitely got a snarl to it, and with a big 4-barrel carb and aluminum intake, throttle response is crisp. It looks pretty stock with chrome valve covers and Pontiac Turquoise paint on the block itself, and it’s fitted with desirable upgrades like power steering and brakes, making it simple to drive. The 4-speed manual transmission racks through the gears with an indestructible feel and with fresh Flowmaster mufflers, you’ll relish the soundtrack at every shift. The undercarriage is in good order with recent parts like shocks and some brake components, and factory Rally II wheels give this Judge tribute just the right look, especially with staggered 245/60/15 front and 275/60/15 rear BFG radials.
