1967 Pontiac GTO: Always A Show Classic.
1967 saw the last year for boxy straight lines, a new gun in the Pontiac model lineup.
This Firebird would shape the next years GTO lineup. There were a few differences on the 1967 GTO from the previous year. Most notable were the twin pin stripes along the upper beltline and body side accent moldings were slightly revised.
Eight taillights with for on each side were now the standard and due to your badges were now found on the chrome rocker panels.
Production numbers for that year were 65,176 hard tops, 9,517 convertibles and 7,029 sports coupes. each model could have various options with the new Tri-Power carburetor, three of four speed manuals, two or three speed automatics and 389 CU or 400 CU engine.
The last year of this styling until the arguably more famous second-generation Pontiacs came along defining the height of the muscle car era.
