1967 Dragster Camaro by Damiano Zappi

We get plenty of submissions of muscle cars here at fastmusclecar.com, but not as often from somebody who buys a bit muscle in the US to race elsewhere in the world.
Over to Damiano to explain his ride –

‘Hi, my name is Damiano Zappi. I am Italian and two months ago I bought this 1967 Dragster Camaro in the USA to make it race in Dubai. It will arrive there in 3 days. I hope to race in a couple of weeks.’
‘The engine is set back approximately fourteen inches. We just installed a brand new Chevy 388 with 4 bolt main.’
‘The transmission is a freshly built THM350 with forward pattern manual valve body. This is a race built transmission built for 1000 HP. The convertor stalls to 3800. The shifter is a B+M Z-gate. We used a mechanical water pump. The radiator is from a Toyota Tundra.’
