1967 Chevrolet Corvette Vault Find

This is one ultra rare C2 Corvette, virtually brand-new, having been in storage for 50 years, with just one owner. The vehicle only has 8522 miles and will be coming up for auction at Mecum Indianapolis on May 16-21 2017.

This is an incredible example of the breed, having been stored in a climate controlled garage since 1993 and comes all original and unrestored with the Marina Blue exterior and five-spoke wheels just as it did in 1967.

Under the hood sits a Tri-Power L71 427 V8 engine with 435 hp and a M21 close-ratio 4-speed transmission, also unrestored and completely original. For any Corvette fan out there this example represents the nearest to a vault find as you can get. whoever is the next lucky owner of this car will be able to drive it just us, it was in 1967. A true time capsule.
