1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS Needs Completing
This 1967 Camaro RS seems to be the result of one or two previous owners trying for a restoration, then passing it on, ready for the next owner to complete the job.
Now it seems it’s up for grabs on eBay for the work to be finished off.
Currently at a buy it now price of $14,000, the car seems halfway finished and ready for someone to take up the project.
It’s has a 350 LT1 engine dropped in from a 1970 Corvette and a Muncie M22 Rock crusher 4 speed manual transmission from 74 big block Corvette. Its said that the engine ran three years ago, but they are clear that everything needs thoroughly checking over, including the electrical system and the seller says they would even get the car up and running for a serious buyer.
It also has a 12 bolt posi with 456 gears.
The car was originally Mountain Green and has been obviously primed at some part in the past, hopefully, meaning all the rust and nasty parts have been taken care of. Many parts come with the sale of the car, including the hood, Fender, grille and has new carpets fitted. It also has a set of new BF Goodrich TA tires and GM rally wheels, which is a bonus.
In total, this is a half finished project which will still need a load of work, including the braking system for one, but at the least, this is a solid car where a lot of the work has been done for you.
It’s not numbers matching, but at least it’s an RS model and has the click of a 67 classic and fully restored to be turned into a fine restomod or even pro tourer.
