1966 Mercury Cyclone GT 390: The ‘Psycho Cyclone’

If you’re in the market for a muscle car, which is a bit out of the ordinary and won’t cost you the earth, this may be the ride for you.

Typically, being a Mercury it doesn’t have the pricetag of its muscle car cousins, what it does have is the same amount of rarity, coolness and originality.

13,812 Cyclone Gts were sold in 1966, this one being one of the very few left in this condition.

The exterior has a Fresh Spectra Blue Mica Metallic respray, competition stripes and Psycho Cyclone Logos.
It has dropped stones with flared wheels, color matched bumpers and a nice amount of chrome to finish off the look.

The engine is a 390ci. which sounds like it’s been freshly tuned with all-new parts. This flows through a Ford top loader four-speed transmission with a Hurst shifter.

The car even has the same original black licence plate of SCK 339 given to it in 1966.

The car is currently on sale at the moment on eBay for $19,900.00.
If you consider everything you get here, it’s almost quite the bargain.
