1965 Ford Mustang GT350 CUSTOM
As you can see from the description below, this is a finely restored 65 Mustang, which has gone down the road of a resto mod or custom.
Apart from the red pinstripes, this car is more or less a sleeper with fine, subtle touches on the interior and exterior.
Considering all the upgrades and work involved, this should make someone out there a fine ride.

Paint
The mustang was completely stripped apart and taken down to bare metal and epoxy primered. from there off to the body shop where a beautiful 2 stage dupont base coat clear coat raven black was applied; after paint the clear coat was wet sanded with 1200 grit up to 3000 then buffed and polished for a mirror like shine. window trim, chrome, vent windows, etc were painted matte black for a modern and wicked look. Maier racing fiberglass snug fit front and rear bumpers painted body color for a clean fit and finish.
Interior
Full custom leather and alcantara ( suede) seats with rear bucket seats. all seats were taken down to the metal frames, sand blasted and painted for rust protection,new deluxe seat foam was added and then finally covered with the beautiful upholstery. One piece door panels, custom rear quarter panels, custom dash pad, front and rear center console, one piece suede headliner with suede sun visors, gt350 leather steering wheel, all new cut pile carpet with mass back, underlayment, ringbrothers billet shifter and shifter ball, window handles, gt gauges, chrome pieces, etc etc. the entire interior is brand new from carpet to the headliner. all parts used are scott drake and made in the USA.
Drive train
1994 cobra 302 with e303 cam, G40 heads, edelbrock rpm air gap intake, crane 1.7 rocker arms, Dui electronic distributor, T5 5 speed transmission, rebuilt 8” rear, 28 spline axles, 3.25 posi. new power disc brakes with dual master cylinder, power steering, brand new upper and lower control arms, new 4 KYB shocks. Global West 620 1” drop front coil springs and new GT rear leaf springs. Runs cool, no overheating issues, you can drive this car around town in traffic, through the canyons, or drop it into 5th and cruise all day long at 75-80 mph on the freeway.
Stripes
Inspired by the all new 2016 shelby gt350. all stripes were custom made and professionally installed. (removable if buyer desires) high quality 3M matte black vinyl stripes measured to original shelby spec run down the center of the car and over the bumpers with ¼” red pinstripes for contrast.
