10th anniversary Mopar Challengers Released

How time flies. Mopar and Dodge are celebrating their 10th anniversary of producing the modern Dodge Challenger with some special edition cars. The limited edition models will have the title of the Mopar ’19 Dodge Challenger.
Only 100 of these special edition models will be produced, 90 for the US and 10 for Canada, incorporating both appearance and mechanical add-ons. For the appearing side of things, all the vehicles will have Mopar Shakedown graphics in the form of blue center stripes which run the length of the car and wraparound the shaker hood with a Mopar Design badge at the rear. The exterior will also have hood pins, a small decklid spoiler and black, Mopar center caps, along with valve stem caps. Colors available will be Pitch Black or White Knuckle.
The interior gets treated to individual, special edition door sill plates, along with Mopar badges on the seats and dash. As for the mechanical side of things, a Mopar cold air intake is added, along with strut tower braces.
The limited edition models are only available on the R/T Scat Pack models, which house a healthy 392 Hemi V8 with 485 HP, going through a six speed manual or eight speed automatic transmission.
‘We’re commemorating our 10th Mopar build with another collectible Dodge Challenger, which continues to be the modern muscle-car every bit as beloved today as the first generation vehicle 50 years ago,’ said Mopar boss Mark Bosanac.
Mopar have been the Dodge parts department for aeons, but it wasn’t until 2010 both names were branded on a vehicle, when a production car was badged with the name Mopar with the Mopar ’10 Challenger.
Pricing for this limited edition Mopar Challenger should start around $45,835, with orders starting in the following month. Each car will also come with a ‘birth certificate’ to market production number and dates and a full-color Mopar ’19 booklet.
