1,000 HP Dodge Charger Hellcat Is Absurdly Comfortable

It used to the case with any vehicle hitting the dragstrip for it to be a stripped out machine, with no creature comforts. Not so much these days as proof with this Dodge Charger Hellcat. The ability to be able to drive to the drag strip in comfort, hit a great time then drive home again is one of the appeals of modern muscle cars.

This particular example kicks out a thousand horsepower with amazingly not so many add-ons, but also has all the creature comforts you expect from a modern vehicle and even has baby Recaro seats installed in the back! Not that there will be any passengers in the back when the Christmas tree lights hit green we hope.

The car itself didn’t need many upgrades to take the 6.2-liter HEMI from its stock 707 HP to 1000 hp, such as an E85 setup and an updated ECU mapping. The car also has some replacement tires in the form of Mickey Thompsons at the back, with stock tires upfront.
