If you have ever wanted to go through the process of restoring a classic muscle car, but didn’t have the funds, Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 may be just the ticket. It’s never going to replace the hundreds and thousands of hours of money spent, blood, sweat and tears restoring a real vehicle, but it gives you a good insight into the process along with the best of modern graphics and gameplay.

Graphics and gameplay are at the stage now where Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 can walk you through the full process from rusted wreck to a completed car that can race. I’m no gamer, but the process of being able to shop for parts within the game, put everything together doesn’t just give you the process, but also educates you into the different names aspects of each vehicle, the various different parts and what made these vehicles so special.

This video runs through the build of a classic Plymouth Road Runner from wrecked vehicle to completed classic that you get to race at the end of the game. The video is a good 40 minutes long, but it’s a great insight into not just the game, but a classic muscle car build in itself. In some ways you can just watch this video and not buy the game to get an insight into the restoration process in general, if that’s your thing. In any case, the game is highly recommended if you love America muscle cars and want a simulation of the restoration process.
