Wrench Game: Build Your Own VR Car

Have you ever wanted to work on or build a car but never had the means to do so? Now you have a chance with an upcoming game called ‘Wrench’ where you run your own shop fixing and repairing everything from simple oil changs to an engine rebuild.

The game is being developed as both a VR game and a traditional screen game. Checking out the video you get a first person view working on all the mechanicals of a car, from being on the workbench to being in and around the vehicles. From their website it looks like it’s not just grabbing components, but you can get down as detailed as seeing the welding on the cars. Basically, the game gives you a first person view of all the aspects of rebuilding a car down to the smallest components without getting your hands dirty so to speak.

Their website says they have a growing library of aftermarket parts that can be installed in each vehicle, with more cars being added to the inventory as time goes on. It’s likely that the game will be released this fall, so if you’re interested check out their website link below.
