The UK To Now Get Ford Mustang Police Cars

It seems that the UK was so enamored with their right hand drive Mustangs, they are now getting a bunch as their police patrol cars.

Since the release of the right-hand drive Mustang, Europe has taken to the car like a duck to water. In some areas, even outselling the traditionally more popular vehicles. Ford have received over 16,600 orders up to now, with no sign of interest lagging.

The patrol cars were shown at a tradeshow in the UK, but no official confirmation to the complete details.

Since the release of the right-hand drive model, the Mustang has been one of the most popular sports orientated cars in Europe.

It’s unclear what the specifications of the patrol cars will be, but it will no doubt be something like the 5 L V8/435hp versions with six speed automatic transmissions. With the obvious patrol car exterior markings, lights and internal equipment.

If all things go to plan, it looks like the bad guys in Europe will now have some American muscle on their tales.
