Twin Turbo Dodge Challenger Produces 900HP At Drag Strip

Supercharging Dodge Challengers has been the order of the day long before the Dodge Hellcat received its stock supercharger.

This SRT Challenger owner has done the opposite of most, opting for twin-turbos. This is going against the grain, but the results speak for themselves.

The 2008 challenger has a 6.1 L hemi V8 engine with 64mm turbochargers and carbon fibre driveshaft. This turns into a dragstrip quarter-mile of 9.7 seconds @144mph, producing around 900 HP.

This setup shows that we have so many options these days to choose from, so why not use them above and beyond the traditional?
