The Rare Rally Nova

The Rally Nova is a rare trim package that only ran for short amount of time and in very low numbers, starting in 1971. The video below clears up a few misconceptions about the package, such as it was completely separate from the RS and SS packages.

Engine choices weren’t the hottest with only a 250ci. L6, a 307ci. V8 or the 350ci. 2 barrel, but the choices were done for a reason. It seems counter-productive now, but it was done as people wanted a muscle car look, but not with the added expenses of other models. Less money to buy and less money to insure, but still with muscle car looks.

Firstly, available on 2 door Novas the rally package added some nice cosmetic additions such as colour-coded carpeting, drip rail chrome, driver side sport mirror, sports steering wheel, black grille and decal stripes. if you really want to get into the nitty-gritty details of this model, check out the video below.
