Telephone City Car Show Gets New Promotion

The annual Telephone City Car Show will this year have different organisers and promoters which aim to make the show even bigger and better this year.

Ray Knight and Chris Biro, both intend to bring on more muscle cars, hot wheels and more charities to the event.

“One of our ideas is to have one day that features service vehicles,” Knight says. “There are a lot of unique vehicles here in the city that kids never get a chance to see, whether they’re vans, trucks, cranes or one of the big machines from Tigercat.
We also want to add a soapbox derby but we don’t want to interfere with the Labour Day derby.”
“There’s never been one in Ontario. But we had nine or 10 things we wanted to add to the show and we kind of caught the city off-guard and ran out of time for them to figure out costs and insurance for this year.”

The show will have everything from vintage vehicles, classic muscle cars, hot rods, trucks and many other wonderful rides for you to spend the weekend enjoying.

The show will be held over the weekend of July 2oth. 2014, 9 am to 4:30 pm.
All proceeds go to the Canadian Diabetes Association
