Roush Unveil P51 Ford Mustang With 727HP at SEMA Car Show
By David Ashton
The SEMA car show, Las Vegas is always a hotbed for launching new concepts, prototypes and new editions from the best in the car world.
Roush Performance did exactly this with their new and improved P-51 Mustang, now kicking out a mighty 727 HP.
The new and improved P-51 Mustang
Roush put out the P-51 in 2008-2009, which has now been significantly improved with the upgraded theme of the 357th Airborne WWII P-51 Mustang fighter plane.
The exterior has significant upgrades with a new front fascia, integrated front splitter, side sills, body scoops and badging following the original fighter’s theme.
The car sports a 5 L Ford Racing Aluminator V8 engine with a TVS (Twin Vortices Series) Roush Stage 2 supercharger, 3-way adjustable coilover suspension system, strapped to Extremecontact Sport performance tires.
The interior sports brown leather seats with P-51 logos and badging throughout.
Although the car at present is a concept vehicle for the SEMA show, there may be a limited run available with more or less the same specifications as above in the very near future.
