Record Muscle Car Sales At Barrett-Jackson.

Barrett-Jackson’s latest auction this January at WestWorld of Scottsdale, saw record sales of 1,611 vehicles, which went for more than $130 million.
This was along with 2,000 pieces of Automobilia sales worth $6.55 million.

The auction, being one of the most covered by the media was attended by many a celebrity and potential investor, with much interest going to charitable sale vehicles along with some record sales as shown below.

The muscle car market is currently very buoyant, with prices slowly increasing year on year and this current auction from Barrett Jackson shows the trend is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon.

1966 Shelby Cobra 427 Super Snake (Lot #2509) – $5.1 million.

1954 Pontiac Bonneville Special Motorama Concept Car (Lot #2500) – $3.3 million

1965 Shelby Cobra 427 Roadster (Lot #5090) – $1.595 million

Ford Shelby GT350R VIN #001 Coupe (Lot #3008) donated by Ford for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation – $1,000,000
