No, you don’t need your eyes testing. You are seeing this wacky paint job.
This 1969 Plymouth Road Runner will be auctioned on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Collector Car Productions and features a 383cu. engine, four speed manual transmission, with 77,000 miles and an exterior color of…errr…what you see.

The paint job was applied in 1972, then the car went into storage for the next 25 years.
The ad says it has had new brakes, shocks, ball joints, alternator, radiator and starter motor and is presumably in all original condition.

Unless the car has been completely stripped down and resprayed, it looks like it was originally something like a Bronze Fire(T5) or even a Bahama Yellow(999) at a rough guess, but this will need to be verified.
To me, the paint job looks like a cross between some sort of wood effect and a lizard or dragon skin, done in an early 70’s styley. The paint job makes it look both antique and new at the same time.
One thing’s for sure, if you bought this car you would definitely have a unique ride…!
