Picks Of The Day: 1962 Shelby CSX2000 vs. 1962 Shelby CSX2000
This should make Shelby fans happy, not just one, but two 1962 Shelby CSX2000s available at once.
Finding one Shelby CSX2000 for sale these days is a complete rarity, but finding two for sale at once, is basically as rare as it gets.
But before going into the details of the cars, one pet hate I have to get out of the way is the quality of the images of both cars. Basically they are terrible, especially for cars asking for more than $1m each. The images of the black one not too bad, but the red one….pah! Really, come on guys, you can find classic cars for sale for under $20,000 that have much sharper, more defined and detail giving images.
It’s a given that these cars will sell themselves, but I would almost be tempted to tell the sellers i’ll offer you only one mill for each car, as the images make them look crappy! No excuse these days.
So, stepping down off the photography soapbox, these two cars in themselves are the start of the breed, a following and not just for investment purposes, but to own one of the most sought-after Shelby’s out there.
From top to toe, as you can (almost) see, pristine and meticulously kept and restored vehicles, which you would expect for the asking price.
Both are investment-grade vehicles and it won’t be any surprise if in a few short years they have doubled in value, so here’s a chance to get hold of one (or two) of the rarest you can find of the Shelby family.
Which do you choose? ( ….that’s if you can see them properly….)
