A Part Crushed 1970 Chevrolet El Camino For Sale?

This poor 1970 Chevrolet El Camino looks like someone has sat on its roof, so the question is it worth a restoration? Its currently for sale over at Copart, Gaston, South Carolina for $1,550.

The listing doesn’t give you any details of what the accident was, but it looks from the rear like something heavy dropped on its roof. The listing itself doesn’t give much details about the car, so it’s really down to what you see on face value here and a direct enquiry.

The doors look like they are possibly salvageable, but it will obviously need a new roof. The bed looks quite intact and looking like something was dropped on it the rather than being rolled, so most of the panels could be reused. The interior looks in great shape as does the engine bay, but it’s hard to tell if this is a completely original SS model.

It’s an obviously at a low price and has the benefit of that iconic 1970s front-end, but the big question is how much will it cost to bring this back to life?
