National Mustang Museum To Be Built in Concord, NC

A national museum is being planned to honor the Mustang, proposed to open in the summer of 2017.

The location will be Concord, NC, near Highway 29 and Pitts School Road, with all the operations being coordinated by the Mustang Club of America. although the museum isn’t directly affiliated with Ford Motor Company, it was still feature everything Mustang related with links to the biggest clubs in the nation.

The area was chosen after it hosted the Mustang 50th Birthday Celebration in April 2014. The location is also ideal as it is only 2 miles away from Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Along with the museum, the museum is planned to have Mustang related driving events throughout the year to benefit the museum. people also have the chance to become museum supporters along with sponsorship packages in the future.
